Our Story

Daadi, our beloved ‘Supergran’, was born in 1936 in Punjab. She carried in her heart the warmth of home and tradition when she made Belfast, and later Manchester, her new home in the UK. As a young mother of five, she didn’t just teach us about life; she built a legacy, co-founding a fashion house, mastering every thread and textile. A true ‘Girl Boss,’ before the words were even spoken.

But the heart of her story was always the kitchen, her Rasoi. Every spice she used, every grain of rice, perfect! She cooked with love, with exacting standards.

No shortcuts. Only the best. Every meal became a memory, the aroma, the texture and the taste.
